UMT AG launches live UK customs AI operations, initiating revenue-generating ramp-up
Munich, 13.01.2026 – UMT AG today announced the transition of its previously disclosed cooperation with Vartan Consultancy, a UK specialist in customs clearance and trade compliance services, into live operational deployment with significant upside.
UMT AG has advanced its AI-based customs solution into live, day-to-day operations at Vartan Consultancy. The solution is now being rolled out to be used in customer workflows, with average monthly revenues of approximately GBP 40,000 expected during the ramp-up phase, subject to training progress and scaling speed.
Once fully ramped, the existing cooperation alone is expected to reach an annual revenue run-rate of around EUR 1.2 million, with additional upside, while 2026 will remain a structured ramp-up year. In addition, UMT AG and Vartan Consultancy have entered into a referral arrangement covering more than 100 additional potential customers, which are not yet live and therefore not included in current revenue figures, with onboarding subject to individual customer decisions and technical integration timelines.
