UMT AG uses payment gateway for payment solution for machine utilisation at Maschinenfabrik Heller

UMT AG’s payment gateway is used by Gebrüder Heller Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik in Nürtingen. This involves the variabilisation of machine usage and the development of a requirements-based integration of the UMT payment solution in various use cases, as well as support in the analysis of the data transmitted to the UMT platform.

“We are delighted to have a partner in Heller as part of the SUNRISE project, with whom we can realise the use of our payment gateway for worldwide use by customers in the machine industry and related sectors and demonstrate our expertise in the payment sector. This market holds great potential because it affects the entire German machine tool industry”, says Erik Nagel, CEO of UMT AG.

The SUNRISE joint project aims to realise subscription value creation models to increase the adaptability of companies. It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research and Development (BMBF) and supported by a number of project partners and companies from sectors such as machine tools and renewable energies in cooperation with the Machine Tool Laboratory (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University. The aim is to realise pay-per-use or pay-per-part solutions for key German industries for worldwide use.
